The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in connection with a July 3rd shooting in Fort Walton Beach
27-year old Travis Munson is accused of shooting 28-year old Chris Shane Decoteau outside of Munson's home on Bradford Street. Munson told deputies Decoteau showed up to talk about money Munson owed him.
During the investigation, Munson gave several different versions of his account of what happened. Investigators say they believe Munson shot Decoteau in the leg outside of his front door without being provoked. Munson is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
