The Lynn Haven Police Department in conjunction with the District 14 Medical Examiner's Office is currently investigating the shooting which killed Anthony Jamar Pickering, 32 years of age of Pensacola.
It happened around 1:00am Saturday at 415 Kentucky Avenue in Lynn Haven.
At the time of the shooting, the victim's brother, Allan Jermaine
Pickering was the only other person present in the home.
While the investigation is continuing, Lynn Haven police say preliminary findings suggest that Anthony Jamar Pickering died as the result of an accidental discharge while handling a firearm.
