Marianna St. Patty's Day Involves Pink Fire Truck

People in Jackson County kicked off their annual St. Patrick's Day celebration in downtown Marianna.

Hundreds of people came out to check out some of the locally made items for sale and enjoy a variety of entertainment, and for the first year, that included this pink fire truck.

Families, churches, civic groups and some members of the local fire department competed in a strength competition, to see who could pull the fire truck the farthest with a rope.

Proceeds from the St. Patty's event in Jackson County will help the fire department, Main Street Marianna and Marianna High School.
