Many say that just magnifies the so called "trashy" image of spring break in Panama City Beach., and in fact, the numbers back some of those claims.
Crime has been on the rise over the past couple weeks, with police constantly responding to calls and paramedics are being pushed to their limits, handing spring breakers who overdose, or drink too much, while partying a little too hard on the beach.
So, is it worse than usual? Many locals say yes.
