One of the hottest issues flaring up in state government Tuesday has nothing to do with Democrats or Republicans, taxes or spending cuts, it has to do with license plates.
The governor and state cabinet are replacing the current tag because the numbers and letters can be hard to read.
Four designs have been placed online and the public has been asked to vote for their favorite, but many don’t like any of them.
So Kevin Cate Communication and Foursquare have joined forces and designed a new plate.
“This is about Florida’s brand and as opposed to saying the Sunshine State, everybody knows the sunshine’s here, you can incorporate that in the design, we put visitflorida.com on there because that’s our tourism site,” said Kevin Cate.
The current four plates can be found at vote4floridatag.com. Cate and Foursquare are trying to get there design added to the website.
