OCSO Interdiction Unit Arrests Two; Seizes Cash and Drugs on I-10

On Thursday, Deputy Scott Spence with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on I-10 on a silver Jeep for excessive speed.

K9 Handler Deputy Jon Duenas utilized his certified drug detector canine “Diesel” to conduct a walk around of the Jeep. “Diesel” alerted to the odor of illegal drugs emitting from the Jeep.

A search of the Jeep revealed suspected Marijuana, Cocaine and MDMA, approximately 68,000 dollars in U.S. Currency and drug paraphernalia.

Aaron Jorge Nobregas and Carlos Madeira Cardoso were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
