The Panama City Fire Department is donating a fire engine to the Monticello Florida Volunteer Fire Department, who will be using the truck for a backup water supply.
The Panama City Fire Department is partying ways with its 1982 fire pumper.
It's been in service since 1982 and has just been retired this year.
The department just recently bought a new Rosenberg Fire Engine which is allowing them to make this donation.
Monticello Firefighters say they're excited for the new addition.
MFD Assistant Fire Chief, Mike Long, said, "The guys are waiting for me to get back home. They are excited to have a truck at home. They are probably looking at the time right now and they probably won't see it tonight, but I will probably have people at the house by the morning. It's like Christmas morning for us.
This is the third firetruck Monticello firefighters will now have three engines.
