Panama City Pedestrian Traffic Fatality

Panama City Police are continuing to investigate a pedestrian traffic fatality Friday evening in the 500 block of west 15th Street.

Investigating officers tell NewsChannel 7 Gregory G. Wolfgram, 52, was attempting to cross the busy four lane stretch of roadway and walked into the path of a car.

Wolfgram was taken to the Trauma Unit at Bay Medical Center where he died an hour and a half later.

The 76 year old driver of the car involved, Thomas E. Skipper and his passenger were not injured.

Panama City Police say Skipper had the right of way and was unable to avoid Wolfgram who stepped unexpectedly into the street.

No charges are expected.
