Panama City Remembers 9/11


PANAMA CITY --The annual event is held next to the 9/11 memorial statue in the Panama City marina downtown.

Representatives from the police, fire, EMS, and the Red Cross were on hand to visit the memorial statue and hear mayor Greg Brudnicki speak.

According to Mayor Brudnicki, 9/11 is not only a day to remember the events of 12 years ago, but also a time to thank our first responders.

"So today kind of re-instills in everyone's mind exactly what happened 12 years ago, how horrific it was. We don't need to take anything for granted and we need to absolutely appreciate our first responders."
