With spring right around the corner, local businesses have been gearing up to embrace the warmer weather, and help residents with their spring cleaning and home improvement tasks.

This year's "Home & Garden Expo" set out to do just that. The three day event was held this weekend at the Bay County Fairgrounds.

Residents and visitors had the chance to learn more about building and gardening technology and take advantage of the number of classes offered. The event was sponsored by the American Red Cross and is one of their largest fundraisers of the year.
