It seems as if some in Panama City Beach had a little too much fun ringing in the New Year and some businesses won't soon forget it.
While the Beach Ball Drop was considered a huge success, there were some minor problems, including some overnight vandalism.
Maintenance workers for Miracle Strip at Pier Park arrived Tuesday morning to find a picnic table thrown through a fence.
Workers spent the morning cleaning up the mess and repairing the damage at the small children's amusement park.
The vandalism included another smashed picnic table.
Also, a bell was stolen from the merry-go-round, and paper towels thrown over several rides along with the Biggest Loser tour bus parked right outside the park.
"This bus behind me got paper toweled. My merry go round got paper toweled. It went from the palm tree all over the bus and around the bus,” said Head of Maintenance Dean Troche.
Park officials don't know who vandalized the park and have not decided if they will handle it themselves or pursue legal action with the police.
