Carrabelle - If you go through carrabelle this weekend, you might think it's been invaded by pirates. That's the theme of this year's 22nd annual Riverfront Festival.

The Carabelle Cares organization holds the event every year to teach people the history of Carrabelle. Hundreds showed up Saturday to enjoy the local art and seafood. Also, to go along with this years pirate theme, actors put on a show as pirates battling it out for some treasure. People were also encouraged to visit the town's museums to learn more about the city and it's importance to Northwest Florida.

The festival continues Sunday from 10am until 4pm easter time.

Great festival! Pirates were all over, and the live music by Debi Jordan was incredible! So glad we stayed and will make this a must for next year's vacation. Carrabelle is a beautiful town.
