Study: Government Among Top Employers in Florida Especially in Bay Co.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- A new study shows government entities are among the top employers in nearly every Florida county.
The study was released Tuesday by Florida TaxWatch, a research and advocacy group with strong business ties.
It shows a public entity was the top employer in 51 of Florida's 67 counties.
Bay County, Panama City, leads the way with government accounting for seven of its top ten employers.
School districts are one of the top ten employers in every county and rank one or two in 61 counties. They employ nearly one of every 30 Floridians who have a job.
The U.S. military is the top employer in Duval, Monroe and Okaloosa counties.

Bay County's top public employers are Tyndall Air Force Base, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Bay District Schools, Gulf Coast State College, City of Panama City, Bay County Board, and Bay County Sheriff.

Weak. Meanwhile they have so many regulations on the common man, unless you already come from wealth, you can either agree to work for them or one of their approved cronies (a corporation, or business with political connections, etc.), or you can expect to be a target. Why not, there is a prison in every county, some have two, what with the "Fusion Centers" and everything else to spy on us, it's like obey or be caged. The reinvention of the National Socialist Party of 100 years ago here in Emerika... Too bad Gov. Scott couldn't manage robbing us with urine testing to funnel money back into his pocket... It's all corrupt, it's not going to last either, these Nazis too will fall.

How can they afford to hire if government is demanding more money to cover the expenses that come with a large government, not including the bloat that arrives with it. Personally have seen instances of waste in the schools as well as 50% of a budget being used to cover expenses/pay that volunteers do for free!!
