Panama City - Panama City's Community Resource Center task force has decided what services it will provide Panama City's homeless community. Now, it needs to come up with the money and a location.

In a meeting last month, the task force decided to call part of it's new facility the REEF. That stands for Reach Everyone Empowering Futures. It also came up with a list of organizations that would have space in the facility, including Life Management, the Department of Children and Families, the Bay County Health Department and the Workforce Board. The next step for the task force is to pick a location and that could happen sometime this month. Panama City Rescue Mission Director Billy Fox says he's pleased with the latest plans because it will help the mission provide all sorts of services to the homeless community. He says this new resource center will alleviate the responsibility of the mission's day center services. He says he envisions working with the new facility and might even like to move the mission next door to it when a location is picked out.
