Toddler Nearly Drowns in Panama City Beach Motel Pool

A toddler is fighting for his life after nearly drowning in the pool at a Panama City Beach motel Saturday afternoon.

Paramedics responded to the Flamingo Motel on Front Beach Road around 4:00p.m. First responders gave the four-year-old boy CPR and rushed him to Gulf Coast Medical Center. Saturday evening he was rushed to Sacred Heart Hospital.

Panama City Beach Police say the boy was with his mom and dad and the family is here from Alabama. Police are still trying to figure out what happened.

The toddler is in critical condition at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.
