The second incident took place in the Sunnyside area of Panama City Beach. Witnesses stated they watched a man, identified as 68 year old Ronald Anderson from Clinton, Tennessee was walking in shallow water fall face first into the water. When he did not get up, they helped pull him onto shore. Anderson was taken to a local hospital where he died a few hours later..

Visitors and locals must remain out of the water when double red flags are posted. Water conditions are monitored throughout the day. Double red flags will remain posted until water conditions improve.
