Zimmerman Trial Gets a Jury

After nine days of questioning potential jurors, attorneys have now seated the jury that will hear evidence in the George Zimmerman murder trial.

Shortly after the lunch recess, the process of eliminating the pool of 40 prospective jurors began with each side getting a set of 10 strikes.

And from that, six jurors and four alternatives were seated.

The four alternatives include two women and two men, and the six jurors selected are all women.

Judge Debra Nelson announced the jurors, who will be sequestered for the duration of the trial.

Their identities will also be kept anonymous.

Opening statements will begin Monday morning at nine.

George Zimmerman has pleaded not guilty to the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
