3 charged in Florence, Ala. shooting death

FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) -- Three teenagers are charged with capital murder in the shooting death of an east Florence teen.
Police say 17-year-old Joshua Dillon Honey was killed at his home Friday in what officers describe as a robbery attempt.
Police Lt. Eric Nichols said charges were filed Saturday against 19-year-old LaMarcus Letre Leshore, 19-year-old Devante Barnett and 19-year-old Tyrus Montrell Thompson, all of Florence. They are being held without bail in the Lauderdale County Detention Center.
Police say Honey was shot in the chest with a handgun and died a short time later at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.
Nichols said witnesses told investigators the three men went to the house to rob Honey and others.
