Authorities Rescue Dog in Fire

Where there's smoke, there's usually fire but local firemen found a lot more than that Thursday morning.

Shortly before 4AM, fire and rescue crews responded to calls for help at the Nautilus Cove Condominiums.

Reports indicate damage was limited to the kitchen area of one condo unit...

However, the occupants had to be evacuated, and fire and rescue crews were called upon to use special equipment to resuscitate a small dog!

Both Bay County and Panama City Beach Fire and Rescue crews responded, and were on scene for several hours.

Everyone involved is reportedly OK.
