Organizers for the all-star "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon say the event has raised $57 million -- and there's more counting to be done.
The preliminary total includes money that was raised by phone, by text and on the World Wide Web. However, it doesn't count money provided by corporations or from sales of music from the show on iTunes. Those funds, like those collected during the telethon, will go to Haiti relief. And the donations will be accepted on the Hope for Haiti Now site for the next six months.
