We’ve got an update on the 16-year-old girl critically injured in the fatal wreck on Highway 77, north of Southport, on April 6th.

Gabby Decker and Sara Herring

Since the wreck, 16-year-old Gabby Decker has been in intensive care, however, her condition has been upgraded to ‘guarded condition.’

If you can remember, on April 6th, Florida State Troopers say the two 16-year-olds, Sara Herring and Gabby Decker, were heading south on highway 77, when their convertible crossed over onto the median and into the path of a northbound car.

While investigators still have yet to confirm the driver of the convertible, they did say the car is owned by Herring’s parents. The driver over-corrected causing the convertible to flip, hitting the other car in the process. Both girls were ejected from the vehicle upon impact. Herring died at the scene.

When they first leave the house by their selves you pray till they safely return. They didn't safely return. God is in control. He takes care of his creation. What better place for Sara to be but in the arms of God ? Gabby should know that you can control just so much but you can't control the will of God.Sara will always be in the hearts of those that love her. Prayers for both families.
