The students are engaged. She has a smart board going, the kids are interacting, it's just this wonderful synergy of activity that goes on that really makes the learning fun."
"I love being able to challenge them to help them to feel successful with what they are doing and just to have fun with them," Golden Apple winner Pamela Goodwin said. "This is such a great age and they are fun to joke with and interact with but also to inspire success with these subjects. I teach math and science. I love those subjects and I want them to love those subjects."

"She helps me learn alot of things and without her I probably wouldn't get alot of the stuff that she is teaching me," student Leellie O'Laughlin said.
"Sometimes we'll use the whiteboards and we will work as a team to figure out the answers and she will show you has the most points and it's really fun," student Ashley Dempster said.
"She is a really great teacher, um, I think she is one of the best teachers in 5th grade," Raelyn Hutchinson said.
