Bay Medical Center Board of Trustees will discuss a second possible partner Thursday.

In August, hospital officials announced a tentative deal with Sacred Heart Medical System out of Pensacola. Now a Brentwood, Tennessee company called regional care hospital partners has submitted an unsolicited bid to lease Bay Medical.
The bid is $200 million dollars, $45 million higher than Sacred Heart’s bid, but Bay Medical Administrators say price will not be the only consideration.

Bay Medical’s Board of Trustees has already approved the decision to lease the hospital, but not a lease agreement. The board meets Thursday morning.
