Bay County Tourism officials say the Country Music Fest was a huge success.
More than 7,000 people attended Miranda Lambert’s show at Frank Brown Park Friday night and around 13,000 bought tickets for Jason Aldean’s concert on Saturday.
The Tourist Development Council used $1.3 million in BP marketing grant to pay for the “Fun Never Sets” Country Music Fest.
There were three noise complaints over the weekend, but the concert was exempt from the noise ordinance because the event had a special permit.
