Destin Church Honors 9/11 Victims With Crosses

The Destin Assembly of God church is honoring those lost in 9/11 by placing a cross on the front lawn of each of the people killed in the attacks.

It’s taken church members nearly a month to build the display. Each of the 2,985 crosses bears the name of one of the victims who died in the four planes that hit the World Trade Center, The Pentagon, or Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania.

The church will also host a 9/11 memorial service Sunday night at 7 o’clock with guest speaker and 9/11 survivor Sujo John.
