Honda is recalling nearly a million cars worldwide.
Today, the automaker announced it's recalling 936,000 of its 2006 CRV models and 2005 compact Fits.
Honda says the voluntary recall was issued to replace power window switches that apparently can cause fires when residue builds up on them.
26,000 CR-Z vehicles were also recalled due to potentially malfunctioning computer equipment.
The automaker says it will begin letting its affected customers know about the recalls later this month.
