I-75 Crash Kills One, Injures Six

WILLISTON, Fla. (AP) -- A Georgia woman died and six others were injured when a blown tire cased the vehicle they were traveling in to overturn on Interstate 75 in north Florida.
The Florida Highway Patrol says five of the eight people were ejected from the 2002 GMC Yukon when it overturned about 12:30 p.m. Sunday. Elva Pineda Leiva of Norcross, Ga., was pronounced dead at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida.
Two children, ages 4 and 9, were listed in critical condition. The FHP says the woman and children were not wearing seat belts.
Four others, ages 13 to 39, were also taken to Shands.
Sixty-one-year-old driver Wilfredo Terraza suffered minor injuries. The FHP says the truck's right rear tire blew out, causing a rollover.
