It’s Girl Scout Cooke Time! The sweet season goes until March and it’s not just about cookies. Girl Scouts say the program gives them valuable life lessons.

Thursday morning troop 582 joined Donna in studio.

Cookie sales enable the girls to learn about goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.

Troop 582 has chosen the Bethel Women’s Village if anyone wants to donate cookie boxes, and some of the money raised will be used to buy children’s books at the library.

The three keys to scouting are courage, confidence and character.

February 8th is National Girl Scout Cookie Day and it is also the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts.
