Matthew Whitney Dykes, 27, is in jail Tuesday on charges of robbing a bank.
Police say Dykes Walked into the credit union, near the corner of 19th street and Highway 231 around 3 Monday afternoon, wearing a mask and armed with a gun. Credit Union employees set off the alarm and Dykes reportedly ran to his pick-up truck and drove away. Police quickly caught up to him.
Dykes is due in court Tuesday for a bond hearing on multiple charges.
