Bay County-Well this isn't what you'd expect to see in any normal neighborhood like Bel Aire in Lynn Haven, but one man's passion for horror movies gave him a head spinning idea for Halloween.
Kash Shirvan, a Bay County resident had the idea to build a working guillotine just in time for Hallow’s Eve weekend.
It's thirteen feet tall, a lucky number, and only has a blade connected when Shirvan himself operates the device.
He said his neighbors laughed at first, but then they started coming by to watch the building process.
Last year, Shirvan built an electric chair that actually gives harmless shocks to those that sit in it.
His fiancée supported him through the whole project which took a little over two months.
"A lot of people think that this is a dangerous device. I have put on every safety measure imaginable so that it won't hurt anybody," says Shirvan.
Next year, he is planning on building another scary device like the gallows.
