For the 11th year in a row, the Panama City Passion Play is helping Northwest Florida celebrate Easter. The performances begin this Thursday and run through Saturday at the Marina Civic Center in downtown Panama City.
With incredible sets and great costumes, it's an excellent show every year. Steve Applegate and Alan Graham joined us in the studio today to tell us a little more about it.
Admission is FREE, no tickets are required. The play has a full drama cast, choir and orchestra of 200 members. Great lighting, sets and special effects. The production is updated with new scripting and music from year to year. An estimated 50,000 people have seen this production in its 10 year history.
The showing times are:
Thursday, April 17 at 7 pm
Friday, April 18 at 7pm
Saturday, April 19 at 4 pm
