The Bay County Health Department has issued a 60 day extension of a rabies alert that now includes all of Bay County.
Several cases of rabid animals have been reported in the eastern part of the county over the past few months. The alert was extended to the entire county after reports of dogs fighting aggressive raccoons off Laird Street in Panama City Beach.
