Updated: Thu 7:52 PM, Nov 24, 2011

Panama City - After a year off, the annual Snapper Bowl brought hundreds of people back to Bay County this Thanksgiving.

Hundreds of people came for this years Snapper Bowl, but one man missing was the long-time organizer Harold Creel. He passed away last year.

Now his son Kenny Creel took over the event and renamed it the Harold Creel Memorial Snapper Bowl.

Last years event was canceled after the BP oil spill and with Creel's passing. But it's not just a tradition for the players and fans but for the Creels also. So Kenny Creel plans on taking over for now and passing on the job to his son when he gets older.
