Governor Rick Scott will unveil a proposal for an across-the-board teacher pay increase.

No one's talking about the details until the announcement expected to be made later Wednesday.

The Governor’s budget is due to Lawmakers by February 3rd. Last year, he called on Lawmakers to raise education funding by one billion dollars which they did and earlier he said he hopes lawmakers will again increase spending in the K thru 12 budget.

Again that announcement from the Governor on teacher raises is expected later Wednesday afternoon.
