The Small Steps to Health and Wealth

While losing weight might be the most popular New Year’s resolution, making smart financial choices also rank high.

Melanie Taylor from the University of Florida Extension office tell us about a program called “The Small Steps to Health and Wealth”. It’s a six week online program that starts Sunday. It is free and available to all.

We are focusing on the small steps to wealth, especially important now that all of our paychecks have taken a hit with the tax increase.

The daily steps to wealth are:

1. Save one dollar a day
2. Invent 5 dollars or more per day including automated retirement savings plan deposits
3. Track money spent throughout the day
4. Bring a lunch from home
5. Learn something new about personal finance
