Beryl on Radar

Just after midnight, Beryl rolled ashore near Jacksonville Beach, FL. Numerous wind gusts to near 60 mph were recorded as the storm moved into downtown Jacksonville. At the height of the storm, some 35,000 people were left without power.

Beryl is weakening, yet still moving westward, which means we will see some gusty wind today and some late day thunderstorms, as the bands from Beryl approach. Right now, the VIPIR 7 Weather Team does not anticipate any tropical weather concerns.
