The owner of the Treasure Ship Restaurant is renewing plans to tear down the icon turned eyesore.
A fire in April of last year closed the Treasure Ship Restaurant. In June, the owner signed a demolition permit, but it expired and the county threatened to tear down the building itself.
Now, the owner renewed the demolition permit and plans to start bringing it down before the end of the year.
