His efforts have raised $64 so far this year. But he's hoping the tennis tournament and silent auction will allow him to help many more. "I helped with Africa, Pakistan, Haiti, Alabama and then the next disaster, we are going to help with that," said Habib.
"Edgewater has been fantastic. They are benefiting "Lucky Pennies" this time so that he is going to be able to help a larger group of people and make a bigger difference," said Ambereen Latif, Habib's mom.
Registration for the tennis tournament is closed but alternates are always needed. It starts Friday at 3p. The silent auction is open to everyone. It's Saturday at 2pm at the Edgewater tennis courts.
