Bay County sheriff's investigators are looking for 2-men suspected of robbing a Hiland Park convenience store. It happened around 7:00 Monday night at the Fill Ups store near the corner of Highway 231 and Baldwin Road.
This is surveillance video from inside of the store. The men first walked-in and went to the Lottery kiosk in the back of the store. When they returned to the check-out counter, you can see one of the suspects pull a knife and swing it at the clerk, then demand cash and scratch-off lottery tickets.
They got away with 11-of the 20-dollar tickets. They also took turns going behind the counter to Steal cartons of cigarettes. Once they got what they wanted the 2-men ran out of the store. Fortunately no one was hurt.
The suspect armed with the knife is a white man, 18-25 years old. He's about 6-feet tall, with brown hair, and was wearing a red hooded sweat shirt and oversized sunglasses.
The second suspect is also a white man about 5-foot-10, with brown hair and tattoos on his arms. He was wearing a blue sweat shirt wit the hood pulled-up over a ball cap with a white or silver design on the bill.
At least one witness says she saw the suspects leave the area in a late 1970's green-colored Ford Mustang.
