Grocery Clerk Arrested for Fraud

According to the Panama City Police Department, the victim noticed more funds were deducted from their food stamp cards then they spent at a local grocery store. They contacted the Grocery Outlet, located at 300 East 6th Street and advised management of the missing funds.

Twenty-one year old Lacie Marie Harrison was a clerk at the store during the time. Management at the business observed Harrison as she was copying the victim's food stamp card information and then using the information to obtain groceries. It is believed that Harrison committed the crime on several occasions between January 1, 2010 and February 4, 2010.

Harrison was arrested without incident on February 4, 2010 at approximately 3:50 p.m. and charged with Fraud (Social/Welfare).
