Two Arrested for Meth in Chipley

On Monday night, at approximately 10:00 p.m., investigators with the Washington County Drug Task Force, seized a Meth Lab from a home on Main Street in Chipley.

The investigation was initiated when officers of the Chipley Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Office were investigating a disturbance at the residence and received information of possible “Shake and Bake” operation at the residence.

A search of the residence by investigators found chemicals and equipment used to manufacture methamphetamine and evidence of the attempts to combine chemicals for the production of methamphetamine.

The investigation lead to the arrest of Edna Gray and Cody Parrish of Chipley, both were booked into the Washington County jail on the charges of Attempted Manufacture of Methamphetamine.
