Ambulance Accident Kills 2 in Jackson County

An accident involving an ambulance killed two people in Jackson County.

The crash happened on Highway 71, south of Caverns Road in Marianna Monday night. Troopers say a Camry was heading south on Highway 71 when for some reason it drifted into the northbound lane striking an ambulance.
Two paramedics, Charles Kirkland and Candy Gehron, in the ambulance were rushed to Jackson Hospital and are in stable condition.

The identities of the two dead in the Camry, and two other injured passengers, have not been released.
