Beach Renourishment Underway Along PCB

Beach Renourishment is once again underway along Panama City Beach.

Crews began pumping sand onto the beaches Monday in the Laguna Beach area. The $13 million dollar project will add 100 feet of shoreline from Carillon Beach to St. Andrews State Park. The extra sand will help protect the beach from future erosion and storms. Crews will work 24 hours a day, moving eastward at about 1,000 feet a day.

The entire project should take 3 months to complete.

This 24 hour project is not allowing me to sleep at night the constant sound of beep beep beep along with the heavy exhaust fumes from the tractors and the huge ship pumping sand/water on shore can not be avoided. The guys with the neon vests and hard hats will not give you any respect when you try to talk to them.I guess when the government gives you thirteen million dollars they can treat people any way they want to. Citizens of bay county please help to find out who is responsible for this intrusion!!!

Now remember not to do the "Bidawee Districts" area for they claim it is privately owned, and other tax payers should not have to pay for this area if they cannot utilize it. The Bidawee People have went tooth and nail,to include illegally putting gates up,and to battle that this area of the beach is privately owned for their residents, so do not use tax dollars from people that aren't allowed to use it.I say if they want it,to pay for it out of their pockets, and their little private cliches pockets, for our tax dollars sure does not need to be paying for THEIR BEACH...Please print this comment, for it seems you never do when I post, and my posts are within reason and rules.I have had a few I posted, hit down to the bone like this(but truth) and You for some reason do not puyblish them!!!
