The case of a former Parker police officer accused of killing his girlfriend is now back in court.
Mark Bomia is charged with first degree murder for shooting and strangling Anna Beach last September. The city of Parker is being sued by the victim’s family because Bomia allegedly committed the crime while on-duty. Now Bomia’s lawyer is filing a motion to suppress some evidence in the case, as well as a statement Bomia gave investigators. According to reports, Bomia claims captain Jimmy Stanford threatened to go after his mom and sister if he didn’t give a statement.
Judge James Fensom hasn’t made a ruling yet.
