The remnants of Tropical Storm Lee may have done more damage than previously thought.
Areas around the Cape San Blas lighthouse in Gulf County were hit the hardest. The lighthouse itself is still surrounded by fallen trees and power lines. Officials say some areas of the cape lost as much as 25 feet.
Commissioners are applying for renourishment funding from FEMA to help stop the erosion.
