TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida Gov. Rick Scott has added his name to the list of prominent Republicans who say they are not running for president.
There hasn't been much speculation about Scott, who's still learning how to be governor, running.
But that didn't prevent the question from coming up at a news conference on hurricane preparedness Monday.
It was inspired by declarations from a number of top Republicans -- most recently Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels -- that they won't be running in 2012.
Scott, a former hospital chain CEO who was elected governor last November, said he's not running and has no intention of running for the GOP presidential nomination.
He said there are "a lot of great candidates" and that it looks like there will be more.
