Gulf Power Works To Restore Power Following Lee

Over 19,000 customers were without power Monday night due to Tropical Storm Lee.

The outages led to Walton County Sheriff’s Deputies directing traffic at several intersections where traffic lights went down. Gulf Power crews had crews working to restore power in 800 different areas.
Almost 10,000 customers were located in Bay, Holmes, Jackson and Washington Counties. About 2,600 Okaloosa and Walton customers were without power.

Gulf Power officials say they should have all service restored by 5:00pm Tuesday afternoon.
