KEY WEST, Fla. (AP) -- Sunday brunch menus in Key West have a new addition: alcohol.
The city commission has voted to repeal the island's blue law prohibiting alcohol sales between 4 a.m. and noon on Sundays.
That means bars, restaurants and retail stores can now sell liquor in the morning hours on Sundays, starting this weekend.
Previously, anyone needing alcohol before noon on a Sunday in Key West had to go to Stock Island, where Monroe County laws are different.
Alcohol sales are now prohibited only between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. daily.
