300 volunteer firefighters from Northwest Florida and Southern Alabama now have new skills.

They spent the weekend in Niceville for the 6th annual volunteer firefighter training seminar. Twenty five courses were offered this weekend including structure fire training, assisting forestry and also helping local EMS and it offered at no cost to the firefighters.
This training is sponsored by local fire departments, the State Fire Marshal, the Florida

Fire and Emergency Services Foundation and the region all hazards incident management team from the Florida Forest Service.
