Panama City Beach Police are investigating a meth lab explosion on the third floor of a beach condo building.
It happened around 4:00am Monday at the Sunbird Condominiums. Panama City Beach Fire Department responded to an activated sprinkler system, but when they got there they found all the makings of a meth operation. Panama City Beach Police Chief Robert Harding says the investigation is on-going, but he is not surprised by this latest meth discovery.
No one was in the condo at the time of the explosion.
